male descendants of someone who served the nation in its development
during the Revolutionary War period.

An appreciation for true patriotism
A respect for our national symbols
The value of American citizenship
The unifying force of e pluribus unum that has
created, from the people of many nations, one nation and one people.

Junior ROTC Recognition Program
The Redlands Chapter SAR, awards a Certificate to foster the principle of the "Citizen-Soldier", exemplified by the Minutemen of Revolutionary War days. This award is presented to Junior ROTC cadets from local high schools who are selected for having a high degree of merit with respect to leadership qualities, military bearing and general excellence.
